I don't know the answer to your question.

Is that your blower-equipped Vette in the avatar? If that's your engine, going with the most restrictive muffler insert made doesn't seem like a good match for producing horsepower.

I have a small block with Hookers Max Flow inserts. Hooker says they flow better than open headers. Inside diameter is 2.5". And yes, they are loud.

Mike,

I think the OP was asking about reverse-full inserts.

OP, if you don't know there are 3 grades of Hooker inserts. From quietest to loudest...reverse-flow, glass-paks and max-flows. The glass-paks have a 1 7/8" pipe ID. I also have Max-Flows and they are loud for sure.

There are actually a different current reverse flow parts numbers on For SB and One for BB. Anyone know what the inner diameter of each is?
Just curious.
I do not plan on using either when replace current system. Its between Sweet thunder and STS spirals I have listened to every sound clip and found all power charts on both.
Avatar car is alive and well. And loved.
Here is mine Small block yes?
