That picture is the exhaust manifold not the intake manifold which has nothing to do with the heater core. Leave the core bypassed and the exhaust manifolds are not that hard to change if you have the right tools.

hey I don't think I made myself clear I had two problems . I-heater core leaking I repaird it now. I have a second problem crack in the (exhaust)manifold I think it would a good idea to replace both manifolds I -replaced the engine in 2003 but used the same manifolds they could be the orig.

repaired heater core. cut outlet hose to the core pinch hose with vise grips then installed a shutoff valve it worked thx guys.
