Now she is complete!
Back in 2011, I came across a photo online of a '69 silver corvette with rally wheels and redline tires. I immediately fell in love with that car and dreamed of owning one exactly like it. Searched for a long, long, time!
Last June I found my silver '69.
Last night, by sheer luck, I came across a craigslist ad. $500 and an hour labor this morning, I completed my dream car!
Yep, a set of four, original rally wheels, with new beauty rings, new metal center caps, AND already mounted and balanced brand new Diamondback redline tires, all for $500!!!
Today felt like Christmas, my birthday, and winning the lottery all in one.
She is now complete and I just can't believe it.

Way to go very very nice. I am still dreaming and now I have a picture to go too every time the finish line starts to fade. Someday there will be twins. Love everything cause I am a little bias going for the same look. Great deal Enjoy!!

I feel like a little kid, almost giddy. I'm on a pretty strict budget so I thought it would be years before I would be able to get that wheel/tire combo.
I find myself walking out to the garage like a mindless zombie for no reason other than to go stare at her!
