Anyone had there valve covers chromed? My BB covers have terrible surface rust and was considering having them chromed rather than spend 500 on new. If so how much was it?
I know you probably want to keep the originality but chroming will be pretty $$$ .
I picked these up from Corvette Central repos with drippers, decent chrome and fit for around $59......just another option for you

Contact Librandi's Plating. They can give you an estimate. I had them do my bumpers and air cleaner lid. They came out very nice..
Thank you everyone for the info. This is such a great site. My Vette is not going to be driven often. The factory chrome just isn't very appealing. I am on no hurry but want it looking better for my own satisfaction. I haven't started cleaning it up yet.
