Your whole interior looks so beautiful and much more luxurious than the factory stuff. Did you also cover the pillar posts and header molding? Did you do this all yourself or did you hire a trim shop? Did you have any clearance issues (everything now being a little plumper than original)?
I'd love to hear anything more you could tell us about the process: prep, difficulties, lessons learned, price, etc.
I swear I've been thinking about something VERY similar to this for a while but was sure it would turn out looking like crap. You've given me new hope. Thanks.

The interior was done by local shop here in Toronto.
There were several materials and processes involved in the fabrication of this interior.
In entailed specialized work such as carbon fiber fabrication, leather wrapping, double stitching etc. I don't think this is type of project that l would be comfortable attempting on my own.
Looks completely amazing!
I thought wow since they've done it, they'd add it to their catalog, but see they haven't. Suppose it doesnt matter probably out of my price range anyway.
Can you tell me where you got the horn button. I have the same Ididit column and had to modify my original horn button.....this one looks so much better.

Picked up some wheel centre cap emblems from eBay, come in a set of four. I had to cut them slightly smaller using the generic button that came with the steering wheel as a template. By the third try it came out perfect.
It looks great. Its nice to see what type of ideas people can come up with and change the overall appearance to the interior. Good job and execution of the design.
