This sounds silly, but I've looked everywhere to order the screws that attach the cargo compartment doors to the hinges on my '72. I ordered what I thought was the right set from Ecklers but they turned out to be for attaching the plastic trim to the cargo doors. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I found p/n 9418551 in my '70 AIM, which is a #8-18 x 1/2" screw (quantity - 11).
I believe this should be correct for your '72. Not sure if your AIM will be on the same page # as mine, but it's titled 'Compartment - Underbody Storage.'
Hi b,
70Y is right with the 551 number. I believe there are just 8 of them though on the doors.
Try Dr. Rebuild #9105324.
2 on the center door and 3 on each side.
There should be well nuts pressed into the fiberboard door to receive the machine screw threads.
Regards,
Alan
