Cooper Markette C3
But lack of info or willingness to provide details on important things like rust which can make a 5k project c3 a $500 parts car quick
Had me loose interest and i was told a local buyer had offered 5k back then,
So i assume it sold or is still sitting growing mold...sad
I do apologize,
Sorry my eccentric sense of humor threw you off, happens to me a lot,
My mind is a terrible thing to taste,
Im cheap everyone here knows that, if i said i was broke that wasnt accurate, well maybe it was that day, but i have funds for things i want,
You told me a local guy offered you i believe 5k and you thought it was worth more but say you know almost nothing about it,
i thought 5k was fair or high in the condition its in,
i had started asking around how much i could get it hauled home for, in case a deal happened,
Being im in eustis florida i cant pop over to check it out and like i told you and the sticky on this forum about buying a c3 validates,
a c3 if all rusty in bad shape can be worth very little, very quickly, in addition the kit on your car hurts or kills it for about 99% of the people wanting a vette, i just happen to like it,
at that time you didnt give me the impression you wanted to look into rust and take more pictures and go into details i would need to buy a car long distant,
You gave me the impression you didnt know what you wantrd to do with the car but didnt care about it anymore, thats reflected in the condition its in, yeah, makes me sad.
So i just tried to help a fellow car person.
I suggested washing it, putting it on craigslist and see what happens, if you ask this forum what its worth you might not like the replies,
i also said when i was trying to help you, "or just give it to me", lol, that was a joke, in relation to if you dont wanna fool with cleaning it up and listing it for sale, ill take it,
i was funning with you, because you dont like the car and i do, sorry my attempt at humor was lost and gave the wrong impression,
i didnt want it for nothing, you saod you had a 5k offer, that was more than its worth to me in the condition i know about and all i dont know, too much gamble not knowing,
the car will need a lot of time work and money dumped into it,
Since you had a local guy who was ready to buy i moved on,
I think you should have took his 5 k and be done with it,
like i suggested before why not wash it , clean it up and post it on cl and ebay, see what happens, Or let me have it, ;-)
Do something with it but dont let it just sit out in the weather and ruin to the point of being hauled to a dump, thats just heartbreaking,
Again, sorry my odd quirkiness threw you off, i do hope the car finds i loving home i still find it sweet and would have loved to have owned it,
Cheers,
B

The article states that the Cooper Markette was built by Byron Cooper, of Knoxville TN. Byron is the owner of Coopers Corvette Center in Knoxville, and also the promoter of the Spring and Fall Corvette Expos. Anyone interested, should be able to reach Byron at 865-687-3976.
And please understand,
I am just not in a position to buy a car in unknown condition, it might be an okay project or could be more rust than car we dont know,
i just cant gamble like that, some guys can and no doubt you will find your buyer, my loss i guess,
Cheers,
B

Interestingly, the seller says the title says it's a 69. The marker lights are 69's, and the front bumpers appear to have been made by cutting up a 68-72 bumper. I'm guessing it was built up from the remnants of a couple old Corvettes.
