Ashtray door spring

I have done a search and can't find this. I have a 1980 and trying to figure out how the spring attaches and holds the ashtray door closed.
If you have any pIctures can you please post them.

I'll see if I can snap you a pic... I can hear it make a noise when I move the door... But it doesn't really have any tension to it... I may pull a side trim to get a better look... ;-)

Thanks vowler. Mine did not have a spring. Yesterday I was playing around with it. And according to the way your picture looks I did mine right.
