Depending on the shade of brown, I would suggest a silver or maybe an orange. If it's a dark brown, it's really tough to match it to a color that doesn't throw it off.
Very nice! My dad has two 82 Collector's Editions. One I am trying to get him motivated to work on, and one that he bought as a parts car. The parts car is sitting on either a reconstructed, or completely new frame, it was totaled at one point. The first one he bought had been driven into a bayou. but it was only 4 years old at the time, so it wasn't totaled. I don't have any newer pics, but some of the engine bay is apart, as well as the interior. Here are some pics of it, circa 1986.

A fun fact ... In that year Corvette Bronze was a special order color for the 1968 Camaro under Code 0
