Default Rear window?

I bought this window off of a friend to put into my 77. (have everything for the swap)
There is a small gap in the frame and I was wondering what needs to be done to fix it (if anything)?

The gap looks bigger than the pics show.

The other problem I am having is the window had no guides on it so I bought some and some screws to go with them. When I screw them in it pushes against the window increasing the gap.
I am thinking that they are just to long and I can shorten them, but what is the proper length. Or are they doing what they are suppose to do.

Hi N,
Here's a picture of the typical corner.
I'd say your frame has had a bit of "work" done to it in the corner.
I see the holes for the pin… is there any sign that there was ever a screw?
Regards,
Alan

Alan
Thank you for the pics. There are no signs of a screw ever being there. The glass reads soft-ray in the corner.

I still need to know how long the screws are for the guide pins if any one knows or can measure one.

Hi N,
From my 71.
Philips, flat, counter-sunk head with 1/4" shaft.
