Easy question
how much does a rear end weigh? I know I know.....all shapes and sizes. a corvette rear end. can they be shipped ups ?
thanks in advance , I'm also waiting to see some interesting comments from those of you with a twisted sense of humor

Well.......just guessing.......according to my aching back.....
I'd say the differential unit (chunk/pumpkin/whatever you want to call it) weighs.................................h mmmmmmm.......100 pounds
Now the two half-shafts..........add 20 more pounds for both
the two trailing arm assemblies........75 pounds each
the spring-pack....................40 pounds
the crossmember..................20 pounds
the strut rod assembly...........15 pounds
As you can see......this is NOT your mama's car (rear end!)
So.........is that what you meant by a Vette "rear end"?

As Doorgunner stated above - the differential weighs around 100 pounds and UPS will ship it.
