I was trimming some trees around my house this week. I had a rather large A-frame ladder on my driveway next to my '81. A large gust of wind came up and blew the damn ladder over on my RH glass roof panel (see photo).
Boy do I feel like a dumb ***? I've been in a deep depression all week.
The good news is that I wasn't on the ladder and that it didn't take out my RH door glass or door panel.

Oh man. I am sorry to see that. I could tell you the dumb things I have done that I regret, but it would take all day to read and hijack your thread. I like your positive attitude, though. At least it only got one.
If you owned a C6, a little Zaino would buff that right out.
Serious, self inflicted ones really hurt. I did something about as dumb to mine a year ago but was a bit more expense to fix. At least your picture doesn't show paint damage, so you can just pop one top out and pop another in. Of course, getting a matching top might be the issue. May be the best to get another set and then sell the old driver's side.
Now will the homeowner's cover it since it was the ladder falling, or the auto cover it, which is probably less than the deductible?
Keep up the positive outlook. The ladder could have then slid down the front fender or you could have been on it and deposited in a pile on the other side.

I do own a C6. It's my wife's car. If it happened to the C6 I'd be looking for another place to live.
I've got a pair of tops on order and will soon be trying to sell the driver's side. It's the blue tinted code 1131 (rare of course) if anybody is looking I'll have it for sale soon as I get the new tops.

Street Rat, Years ago I had the same thing happen to me, while cleaning the chimney with a 20' aluminum extension ladder. A gust of wind blew it onto the roof of my wife's fairly new Beretta. She was not happy about it. Lou.
What a total drag! The pics tell the story and I'd be bummed too! Good luck finding a pair of tops and I know it's not going to be cheap or easy to find.
