Hey guys and ladies, just picked up this 75' from a buddy of mine. He didnt have time or the place to really fix it up so he just gave it to me. I cant compain since it was a free car. Well im not new to cars at all but i am to the corvette. Ive always been a mustang guy and i definitely wanna do this car right. I may be wrong but i think someone put a new different front end on. Im also not a fan of the recessed headlights at all. but its a project and ill get better pics up later. This is the only pic i was able to snap earlier though.

Welcome to the Forum! I joined a few months ago, and the help I've gotten from members is great. Your car seems to be like mine....Mix 'n Match body parts!

But....we both have projects that can be finished if we keep at it.

Keep us updated in this thread.

Will do. I feel like I'm gonna do a lot of custom glass work to get what I want. Hell, just looking at headlight assemblies makes me wanna do something custom. I went a little overboard on my mustang. Keep telling the old lady I'm done (we all know I'm not). This one I just want a good driver that looks good and sounds decent. Maybe a mild cam. Nothing too extreme. Good luck with your build

Thanks. You must be too "fired up" to sleep! I don't think I slept 2 hours the first night I brought my car home!

Default Welcome from Australia!

Froush,

The front chrome bumper had its last airing in 1972, the first upswept rear bumper came out in 1979 or 1980, so it's a bitsa. Not knocking you, just agreeing with you. The mirror is also late 70s. The paint looks good, so you could keep it like it is and when you've had it a while, take your time to decide if you want to fit an earlier rear bumper and/or a later front clip. A front clip might even have the correct pop up headlights in working order. But then you'd have to repaint the whole car.

Good luck, whatever you do, and don't be afraid to ask questions. There's no such thing as a stupid question when you're new to the marque, just watch out for the occasional stupid answer. We're here to help.

Regards from Down Under.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I'm not new to forums so I know how stupid questions and answers go. Haha. The rear doesn't bother me too much but the front will be getting changed out to what it's suppose to. Might leave the recessed lights but put a flush lexan smoked cover with projectors inside. Idk yet. The interior is basically non existent but it does have decent looking seat left in there. And the engine needs some work (cosmetic). Nothing too bad or too much out of my hands. It'll probably end up being lava red "uz" even though it's a ford color.

Welcome to the forum Froush. Sounds like you have a nice friend there. Looks like the car has plenty of potential. Good luck with it. One thing we love around here are plenty of pics, so keep em coming. Enjoy the holiday.
