Default 1969 corvette shift boot

Here is a link to a shift boot on eBay. I thought this was interesting because it appears to be made in leather, and follows the same double bellows design as factory original,,anyone ever seen one of these available new?

Hey Bellaire,

It appears to be the correct rubber material to me.

Hi br,
I'm thinking it looks like rubber, too.
Regards,
Alan

If it were leather there would have to be a seam in it I believe.

That is the rubber version, correct for 69...as I was going with a flat/round bar Hurst I opted for the later leather one for my 69

Yes, on closer inspection it does appear to be rubber. I think what threw me was the engraved hash marks on the top ring. My old beat up one doesn't have that....mine must have been replaced sometime in the past
