Any info on the maroon C3? That thing is leaving hard!
The maroon C3 is owned / driven by Alex Wiese. I'm sorry, I don't have any information about the car. From what I can tell, he doesn't make much of it public knowledge
There is another C3 that runs out there as well driven by Dan Wiese (brother to Alex I believe). This car also seems pretty impressive, and appears to be running a IRS in the back.

Thanks for the great comments on my Vette. The red one is my fathers, both of them are 79s. We run in NHRA Stock Eliminator running 350sbc. My father might get his back out this year with a 4 speed after 5 years of sitting on the jacks for the project. Mine has a 200 metric trans. Not many run the IRS anymore, and we are starting to hit the limits with them. Plus a pain always under the end tightening up those damn bolts! Those wheelies are damn fun, but hard on that fiberglass!

Love the pics of C3 drag racing! Thanks for sharing. Here's my vintage 5-amber Chrondek 'christmas tree' in The Hot Rod Grille garage. "Big Daddy" Don Garlits autographed it when he was in Charleston for the 10th annual Rod Run & Doo Wop car show in October.

Ahhh....good ole Dover Dragstrip. What a great place to spend a Sunday growing up in the area. Nice pic!
Here is another terror that ran Div. 1 and was a Dover regular out of Conn.
