Default C3 over steer problem

Guys I have just put a carbon fibre rear spring and 4 new Bilstein shocks on my 75 Vette and I seem to be getting snap oversteer.
Can you give me any suggestions what I can do to fix the problem?
Will a larger front stabiliser bar hep?

Cheers
Paul.

Have you had an alignment after the new spring was installed?

In for the same issue. Alignment next week!

Then we'll go from there.

If the new rear spring has a higher rate than the old spring, you are effectively transferring dynamic weight to the front of the car. If the alignment checks out, then you need to tune the suspension to move some of the front weight to the back, like with a tighter front bar. And don't overlook air pressure adjustments. It might be solvable by taking a couple psi out of the rear tires. It would cost you nothing to try it.

You didn't mention a rear swaybar, but if you have one, go smaller or eliminate it entirely.

I was wondering that myself. Didn't know if removing or going bigger was the right way to start out.

Going to "unlink" mine and drive it for a bit to see if that help.

Gong from a gymkahana front and rear to a 330lb rear fiberglass spring. Didnt mess with the front springs. Still the original 36 year old ones.

I'll give it a whirl and see what happens.
