Suggestion, check ebay, I have bought a couple on ebay that are the old style lace up with the little holes. I think they are way cool, vintage for sure. To show you how old I am, when I got ready to buy one a couple of years ago, I thought you buy them at any auto store, duh!, I had to really look to find any, LOL's!!!

That is one of the covers we looked at last night,
Yes all of the covers at the local parts houses will be too big for our narrow wheels. Would be nice if they gave the width dimensions of the material.
Will see if i can find anything at Bloomington Gold this month, if not i may try to make my own. I worked in a body-shop that also did custom interior work in the 60s
I bought a leather cover that laced like the new wheels (I have a 76) and it was a little big. I went to a trim shop and got some thin foam, wrapped the wheel first then wrapped the leather over the foam. The cover is four years old and still looks and feels new. I think i bought the cover from a forum vendor.
Good Luck,
Bill
I bought Wheelskins. These are leather wraps that you can order to fit. I have 76 with the Vega steering wheel and fit mine perfectly. They make the steering wheel look better than original and were fairly easy to install.
