The factory recommended cold pressures were 20 lb front, and 26 rear. This was for the OEM GR70x15 radial. Your P225/70R15's, are the modern equivalent, of the original GR70's.
I think Chevrolet was going for a better ride, with these pressures. Personally, I think they are to low for crisp handling and proper braking. I always run around 28-30 lbs, but that's just my preference.

30 psi would be fine. At less than 25 psi, your tires would be at risk for blow-outs when running at highway speeds for very long. There would be too much side-wall flexing and building heat.
I'm a 30 PSI kinda guy myself. The tire mftr will always print the max PSI (not to exceed) on the sidewall. That way, you can judge why some of us choose 28-30 as common numbers for a great many road conditions.
