Default light clunk from rear

Just replaced the fuel pump and all radiator and heater hoses and get in to drive to work....hear a light clunk from the rear when accelerating. Nothing major but just a light clunk. If I accelerate slowly there is no clunk. If I stop hard same light clunk. I stop slowly nothing. Noise sounds like a wratchet hitting against something....ideas?

I searched threads but was beyond overwhelmed with the multitude of potential options and didnt know how to categorize the severity of the noise vs. Solution.

Thanks!!!

Sounds like the rear end mount.I just fixed my clunk. It was the mount itself and the two bolts that mount the rear end to the mount. All loose.

Rear u joint... Blew out the needle bearings and is rockin around inside the cup... Go too far like that and the cup can deteriorate causing flange damage... Try grabbing the shafts and seeing if you get ANY play from any of them... There's 6 under there! Lol.

Could be something else , but it's a good place to check.

As GJohnson beat me to it, I had a clunk in mine as well and found only one bolt holding my rear end stable. Easy fix and check it first.
