Interior door handle

I guess its pretty common for the pull handle to come loose from the door panel. Has anyone used the 1978-82 armrest repair kit offered from some of our Corvette parts suppliers? Do they work, how hard is it to use?

They work fine.
Easy to use.

You might even find one in the "help!" parts section in your local auto parts store.

Yeah, the Corvette armrests are the same used in several other GM cars of the era.
But, looked over Dorman/help! site and didn't see the kits.
I guess since I got my repair kit way back in like 88 they stopped carrying them

I don't get it - a $7.00 part (need 2) and $7.00 for shipping, for something that would be less than $5 bucks 10 years ago at Auto Zone.

I found that a 1975-1980 Chevy Monza, Buick Skyhawk, Pontiac starfire and Oldsmobile something (believe H-body) all use the same interior parts as the Corvette and some of the same mechanical and electrical as well.
