Convertible Top - Up or Down?????

I normally put the top down in June and it stays down for the rest of the summer. One thing I would recommend is when I do put it back up I pick a nice warm day which makes it easier for the vinyl to stretch back into place and eliminates the possible tear to it or cracking the plastic window.

Been driving my 68 to work nearly everyday lately mostly because its so nice going home at night(get off a 12:30 AM). I drive it to and from top down, put the top up when I get there and back down when I leave. I figure it keeps the sun off the interoir and warms the top enough to remove the wrinkles from being stowed. My only concern is the sun yellowing the back window, I hate plastic windows on convertible tops!.
