There are shims on the seat backs..but you're not going to get much extra room. The rear firewall behind the seats will limit angling back the seat backs to not much more than is available when the shims are present.

seat back angle
Mine is a '79. The seat lays back way to far. I hope there is enough adjustment to fit me better. I bought the 'vette as a fixer-upper, I can't drive the car with the seat laying way back, Thanks for the info.
