Replacement t tops or full tops
I am considering a one piece Astro top for my 81. I would like some current feedback on the Astro top or other make. Most recent I have found on the forum is around 2010. Also, anyone know what brand urethane adhesive is best for re-bonding the frame to my original glass t top?

Not sure about the one piece top. I'd repair or replace the T-tops.
A detail/trim shop should give you an idea on what adhesive to use.

Love my astro top... I like looking up/through it on cruises... Easy to take off and put on when appropriate... I've only had my actual fiberglass t-tops on once since owning my vette almost a year now...

I also have an astro top. it fits like crap and it takes longer to put it on and off, but I still like it better than the fiberglass tops.
If I had a set of glass tops I would probably just repair them instead

Thank you for the feedback, overall seems the acrylic Astro Top is a decent buy.

I intend on repairing the orginal glass T top. However I want a top I can use on a regular basis. On real hot days or those days of possible rain, want something dependable instead of using the original glass tops, plus a reasonable cost. Thanks for the feedback.

This same question was asked a few weeks ago in a thread started in the tech section.... you can find more opinions and info there if you do a search. I have both a set of gold moon roof glass t tops and regular fiberglass t tops and neither fit correctly or at all the same... very frustrating. I haven't decided whether I'm going to go with the astro roof but I do not think I'll be using the gold tinted glass tops on a "corvette grey" car once its painted the original color.
