Default 77 stingray?

is my 77 considered a sting ray? the reason I ask is im going to order some heat shields for my new side pipes and my wife wants the ones that have the stingray print with crossed flags. im going to get them from steel shields. tomorrow I am putting the side pipes on!! I pulled everything off today and cleaned the engine up. its ready to go.

The "Corvette" badge is bragging rights enough

Doesn't matter if it says "Stingray" or not.

Well buddy, technically the '68s & '77s-82s of the C3 era are not badged from the factory as a Stingray, yet they share the same body style. So technically the more correct answer is no, while the C3 Stingray is often referred to as the '68-'82s. In my mind, ALL C3s are Stingrays. But like I said, the correct answer is that no your '77 is not a "Stingray". I say order what you want, it would not look out of place if you ordered the ones with "Stingray" as most people know C3 Stingrays are C3s. However adding like C4 or C5 or any other generation logo mats or things would look odd.

Please. Not again.

Do a search on 1968 Sting ray and you will see why.
