#5 Crossmember
Every picture I have seen of a 69 frame has shown the most rearward crossmember welded in. This is the crossmember that the bumpers bolt to. I guess it would be called #5. My Sept. 69 frame has this crossmember bolted in. Can anyone shed light on this for me? I'm wondering now if it has been replaced but see no signs of an earlier welds or grinding/cleaning marks. Thanks!
