I might be mistaken, but that looks like you have a wiring harness out of a 77. What does the center cluster look like? I don't see the #3 in the 76 diagram. They look completely different. My mistake on that one because they look nothing alike.
By the VIN, are you sure it's a 76?

OK really weird…
Oddly enough I have this page in my 1976 AIM as listed as 12H sheet 9. Below it says "1976 Corvette Y".
Now the sheet before it in MY AIM it is OTHER page showing the illumination connector and it's ALSO labeled as Sheet 12H Sheet 9.
Below it says "1978 Corvette Y".
It is the only page labeled 1978 Corvette in the entire AIM manual.
What the hell…??
