Default 74 VIN Question

As best I can tell the VIN on this 74 coupe is
1Z37J4S423276
The trim tag shows K28 for June 28, 1974. That's pretty close to
shutdown as there was no July or August production.

The question is that the production sequence 23276 doesn't jive
with June unless the production numbers I've seen are wrong or
I've misread the VIN.

The only number in question is 1Z37J4S423276.
The other numbers are clearly legible.

Can you shine some light in this dark place in my head where my brain
used to reside?

It's probably 33276

Production resumed in Sept. 74, final serial number being 37502.

You're probably correct that it is 33276.

That would have made it one of the first cars built in September
after two months off.

Thanks!

My WAG: the car was at, or just past, the trim tag station on June 28. It stopped there and sat until September.

I have only a photo of the tag on the driver's door with the VIN.
