Default WARNING-Ecklers rip off!

I will be posting this on each Forum. I attempted to purchase a front license plate bracket from Ecklers. I found the frame on line for less from the manufacturer for $139.95 plus $14.75 shipping, total $154.70. Ecklers price was $159.99 plus $22.99 shipping on the internet, total $182.98. I called to place the order and take advantage of their price match. The price match cost with shipping was the same at $182.98 which is $43.03 for shipping. THIS IS A RIP OFF I I WON"T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN AND ENCOURAGE YOU ALL TO DO THE SAME.

Eckler's is a reputable vendor. If you have problems with them, you should be talking with the Eckler's folks and not complaining here.

Ecklers is not reputable! I ordered floor mats for my Buckskin interior, I chose Buckskin on their website, I got Camel! When I called they said it was my mistake, when I pointed out that their paperwork that came with the Camel floor mats even said Buckskin they then told me that I could send them back for an exchange but will get the same ones back as companies can't make all colors of floor mats. I asked him why they would then advertise Buckskin when they don't have them, he couldn't answer that. I then told him I wanted my money back and would put this on the forums, he said fine send them back (at my cost), and if I wanted to post this on the forums to go ahead...

Why didn't you just order it from the manufacturer and not even bother to order it from Ecklers?

This is your fault. There has been several threads regarding Eckler's lousy customer service throughout the years.

The same way you started a thread, you could had started one asking for a reliable vendor like MidAmerica.

Next time you find the same product cheaper, buy from the cheaper vendor.

Starting a thread all over the Corvette Forum will not get your money back. Pick up the phone, and initiate a CC dispute.

now, if you would like to post the dispute in the T&F forum that is fine you can do so just post it within forum guidelines.

If you just want to rant thats fine too however we took a great deal of time to set that section up so users can check out these sort of things before they purchase so you really need to post it there.
