I used Intercity Lines back in 2010 to ship my non-running '71 from NH to WA. They weren't the cheapest, but they were very professional and that's what I valued. No brokers or independent operators were involved, only their own rigs and drivers. They work with you to find space on one of their trucks going in your desired direction and it might take a while for them to get a load scheduled, but they'll treat your ride right in a double decker enclosed trailer with tie-downs only used over the four tires...
