Default Parking Brake Handle

Hey everybody - Where are we sourcing parking brake handles? They're out of stock everywhere I look and I'm getting tired of doing the two-handed brake-set on my '72.

Anybody seen one around?

Pose this question over on the NCRS Discussion Board forum. There is a member that restores and sells them.

Hi S,
Have you tried Smart Parts? Google.

There are no repro 67-76 handles, being made right now. The slightly different 77-82 handle assemblies, had been available from Chevrolet, but I haven't checked on the status of them lately.

Vette Masters originally repro-ed the 70-76 style handle. Shortly after they brought them out, Central started doing the 67E, 67L-69, and 70-76 handles. So as not to compete directly with Central , on the handles, Vette Masters revised theirs to include the ratchet assembly.

Central only offered their handles for about a year, but then discontinued them. They've told me they have no plans, to make them again.

Vette Masters have been out of the 70-76 handle assemblies for over a year now. Tom of Vette Masters tells me he hopes to run then again sometime, but can't say when. He has a lot of different projects he's been working on.

Any Luck? - I have been looking one for my '75 for about 8 months.
I actually placed 2 orders - both companies took the order but could't deliver and canceled.

There's a company called Big City Corvettes that have some for sale on Ebay. They're kind of pricey, but if you can't find one anywhere else, it is an option.
