I am toying with the idea of selling my 72 Stingray to get a 65-67 or a newer style C5/C6 vette. The car has 21809 miles on it now. 454 (Non matching) with 2000 miles on the rebuild (head work, bored .030 over, big cam, ceramic headers, new exhaust, etc. also new brakes, calipers, radiator, alternator and a few other things. Transmission has been replaced with a Doug Nash 5 speed. Looking for a best guess on value. Interior is all original and would rate a 8/10 and exterior 9/10. Only thing not working is the windshield wipers (never seen the rain). Hagarty shows the value around $28-$30K but not sure if that is an all stock numbers matching car, etc. i am also not sure how accurate their estimates are. Thanks!

When you decide what you want for the car, post another thread in the For Sale section with an asking price per forum rules. Meanwhile, I'll move your worth discussion to the General discussion area.
Hagerty's valuations are an average of what the cars are actually selling for (most likely what they are being insured for) and I've found them to be reasonably accurate but you have to do a little math with them.
