Default New Mirrors

Wasn't happy the the single floppy factory mirror and didn't want the body matched factory sport mirrors. I prefer the looks of the chrome bullet mirrors on British and Italian sports cars.

These are from eBay but are not the cheap ones that use bolts. The mounting pattern is closer than the factory chrome mirrors so I had to add an additional hole.

Visibility isn't perfect with these but much better than the single mirror that pointed at the ground. Definitely form over function but I really like this look...

I'd like to get rid of the tend-to-get floppy stock mirrors on my C3's. One of the things I'd like to avoid is chrome since it tends to corrode. I'm pretty sure I had these mirrors on my Triumph TR-3. They were great, but they're chrome and I'd like to avoid that.

My TR-3 experience tells me that, at least, at that time God liked me. All the time I owned the car, I never knew that it's relatively narrow wheel base made it a premier killer of amateur sports car drivers...the car would flip over easily. I went sideways in the car a few times...at the time I imagined I was a new Juan Fangio. Never spun it out. Fortunately it never flipped in my sideways slips.
