Default Bought a 1972 Coupe

As a 50th birthday present to myself I just bought this 1972.
I had my first Corvette, a C4 when aged 23 followed by two C5’s in my forties so I’ve always been a fan but the urge now was for a chrome bumper car which I intend keeping and hopefully adding too.
I wasn’t too hung up on it being ‘numbers matching’ and all correct, I wanted a solid driver that didn’t require too much work other than some cleaning up. The seller imported the car a year ago after he had bought it from a private collector in the USA. It’s had a repaint at some point and possibly a new interior but it’s very clean throughout, runs great and looks mostly unmolested.
I’ll dig into it more once I have it in the garage over the Winter.
Anyway onto the pics..

Hi bv,
That looks like a very nice car!
I'll bet you get a lot of attention when you're driving it or it's parked!
Good Luck with it!
Regards,
Alan

Excellent choice for your milestone birthday. I had the same pleasure for my own 50th and couldn't be happier, after all these years.

I hope that you are blessed with enjoyable experiences, every time you take that beauty out for a spin.

Always fun to see a Yankee classic tooling the highways of our English cousin's homeland.

Cheers!
