I installed Willcox weatherstripping on the driver door, T-top, and pillars. The outer blowout clip (silver) on the front pillar is screwed up, do I need it or can I just use extra sealant?
I opened and shut my door so many times trying to get things lined up, the door won't open with the outside handle anymore, what should I look for to fix this?
My window does not go up all the way either, I guess I have to do the window adjustment.
The car is an 81 by the way. What a PIA this is turning into. Thanks.

The A pillar weatherstrip is new on my car - I just replaced the B pillar and that knock my window all out of whack. So I tried to readjust it - wow this is total BS. Finally got it half way decent, but now I need to replace the door weaterstrip too and am very reluctant to do it because it will cause more adjustments. So I'll be watch this to see how you handle it.
On your door , in my case my passenger door (82) , the mechanism on the door is slightly worn out and will lock on its on after about 4-5 shuts of it . I had to bend the linkage going to it slightly ..
So I'm guessing I'm not the only one that has had problems. I guess I'll pick-up the blowout clips from a place in Tampa today and if I find out I don't need them I won't use them.
