Default 76 Door Panels???

i was told by a local corvette shop that my door panels were installed wrong. There are screws at the top front section that hold the panels. Could someone post some pictures of the proper look of the door panels?
thanks. I will try and get some pictures of mine, i just have a hard time posting pictures.

Hi j,
I believe there should be a chrome plated, oval headed, counter sunk, screw, where shown in your picture.
I also believe it should have a 'collet' and also a stainless steel 'conical' washer which receives the screw's counter sink, prevents the screw from pulling through the panel, and leaves a distinctive ring in the vinyl panel.
Regards,
Alan

The one on the right: (there one on the left with just the 'collet' is used elsewhere… on the e-brake console for instance).

Thanks for the reply, so it all looks normal I guess. Except for the missing screw. The way the panels are attached looks right.

Ask them what they mean by "wrong."

i don't know, up at the front top part of the panels are where the screws are. Do you have any pictures of that section? The pictures I took are with the doors open and looking at the top front section behind hinges. ?????? you could be right, this is my first run at this.
