How difficult is it to convert to power windows on a 74 does the kit tell you how and where to connect to power source does it come with all parts needed?
I am putting power windows in my 72 and there is not a kit that I am aware of I just purchased the pieces to convert. The AIM manual has all of the details.
2 Power window regulators
2 Power window motors
2 Switches
2 Electrical wire conduits
1 Electrical harness
1 relay
1 parking brake console with the switch cut outs

Purchase the 74 assembly instruction manual (AIM) and follow the diagrams for the RPO A31 power windows. The AIM will show the parts you need, their original part numbers, and how everything went together at St. Louis.

I bought everything from someone parting out a 76. I believe the parking consoles are marked on the underside for the switch cutouts.
The AIM will show you where the relay mounts, how to run the harness and the mounting orientation for the motorized regulators.
The motorized regulators mount 90 deg different than the manual version, IIRC, its been a few years since I converted mine Keep in mind if you don't replace the door panels you'll have a hole from the manual regulator.
