Default 1977 Restoration

I am new to the forum and new to Corvette ownership. I just came into a 1977 L82 through a family situation. It only has 65K miles on it, but needs considerable interior work. I had intended to try to do the work myself (ordering genuine Paragon parts from Michigan, etc.),but quickly found that there was more work that needed done than I anticipated. So, long story less boring, I am looking for a quality, reliable, and trustworthy restoration service in the Phoenix area, preferably in the north or west parts of town. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I can't help with a shop, but I would question, if the interior needs that much work, are you sure the mileage is accurate?

Yeah, I actually wondered about mileage myself for a bit, but it's a family thing and I trust the previous owner implicitly.

P.S. I see that you are from Columbus. I grew up in Dayton and went to school just a few miles from OSU. Go Buckeyes!

Welcome to the forum. I too own a 77 except mine's a L48. I redid the interior myself and with a lot of internet searching was able to locate period correct parts that cost a lot less than new. I didn't find it that difficult to redo on my own. It was just time consuming looking for parts. You could probably do it on your own provided you have the time. I don't know of any shops around that do restorations, but then I really didn't look for any either. I'm sure that you'll be able to locate one near Phoenix or perhaps Scottsdale. Good luck

That's good advice. I'm probably just a little overwhelmed right now, but the satisfaction of doing it myself will be worth it. Thanks!
