Not bad, but at $15,000 I would pass as I have seen nicer for less.

Hi,
Interesting that he still has the "original rear end".
Rear clip?
Regards,
Alan

Wonder why they did away with the side windows. Bet it is a bear to drive.

Yeah he mentions needing a headiner if you keep it as it is. He talks like swapping out the wagon section is as easy as replacing a bumper.

Hi,
"$12,000 in the engine and transmission."
It must be in $100s because I don't think you can fit $11,000 in small bills in an open style air cleaner!
Regards,
Alan

I don't know if this car is even street legal with the headlights so low to the ground. Seems like a lot of money for a lawn ornament!

Aw more family truckster vettes, well the roof line on the Greenwoods look so much better without the slope of the Ecklers style but geez,
My dad wanted one in the 80's as a work car but after looking in one his reply to me was it doesn't add enough space to ruin the look of a vette.
I think they have a fun dorky charm but you sure can't look cool in one...

But many were built on chrome bumper cars so fixing them back to stock rear happened a lot in the 90's.

State laws do vary but headlights in the grill of a vette are 100% illegal in all 50 states,
I know of people Ahem... that skirted it a little with cops who either didn't know where the lights were supposed to be or just didn't push it,
Wrong cop the car could get impounded but worse, in FL for example if you get in a wreck, and the other driver says it had anything to do with headlights you will loose the lawsuit because the lights were modded, same goes even for non factory covers on any make models headlights here.
