Ah C7 is in an category by its little stepchild self....the push me -pull me Corvette ....C7
The rear end of a C7 corvette from certain angles ....looks like the nose of. 78 firebird trans Am sliced off and glued on to a Corvette ......just bazaar looking to say the least ....two cars in one.

To me I look at the generations as the following
c2-c3 best looking not great handling imo more of a muscle car vs a sports car. classic cant go wrong
c4 start of the corvette being a sports car good handling and best price for the money out there
c5 modern corvette great handling and performance plus a looker but not to that of a c3
c6 not a fan like the pop of headlights of previous gens
c7 great looker besides tail lights and great performance for a base car. A poor mans Ferrari imo but that's not saying anything bad towards it as I would rather have this then a 60k Ferrari any day
I personally believe C4's are the worst corvette ever made besides are very uncomfortable. The designers of those cars the lost the concept of the lines of C3's corvettes
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
The C4 is better in every way.
I'm in the process of putting a VBP perf plus suspension, and borgeson steering into the C3, and I doubt it will even be as good as the stock C4.
Looks are subjective.

When the C4 came out it was dead on for the market at the time. They knew what they were doing, just times have changed. I still like the later C4's, but I doubt I will ever buy one. I've had my C3 for 20 years now and don't see ever selling it.
Pretty much says it all.
Just look at TV programing .....what do they show,to,please the majority or viewers . Drugged up, white trash, biker shows , sleazy fat redneck families , over eating and preg teen shows..... nascar , trailer park and all the rest .
Glade other counties have NOT given up .
I searched for 9 months for my C3, which ended up an L46 '69 manual. The guy I bought it from basically did a ground up restoration over a period of a number of years, and the suspension and driving comfort of the car is amazing. So, much of the suspension will depend on what has or has not been done to it.
When I was looking, I found a 1991 10K mile ZR1 for sale, and decided I had to drive at least one C4 before making the final plunge into an older C3. The C4 didn't feel like a classic to me (probably a duh, with only 10K miles), from inside or outside. It drove great, but also didn't feel more powerful than my L46. And my L46 with the work done to it, actually felt like I could more easily use it as a daily driver than the C4 (although I never would - it's a classic I plan to have for a very long time). I didn't pay a lot of attention to the interior space, but the C3 has all the driver and interior space I could want.
Point being - there are a lot of variables to the question you ask. In the end, it's just what turns your crank!

But the statement in red is very hard for me to comprehend, The ZR-1 must have not had the power key on. Even stock it puts out 375HP and 370TQ up to 7200RPMS....Will do 125mph in 3rd. And with just headers, exhaust, tune, P&P will do 500HP.
