Hi,
Also, I believe the roof panel bags typically matched the color of the interior trim.
If during the year the supply of various colored bags ran out, black was then substituted.

Alan

Thanks for that tidbit of information Alan. You certainly are a treasure trove of knowledge. My Mulsanne Blue '71 has black bags and I thought they all came with black...
Hi Paul,
An awful lot of the information I've been able to store away is because of that horrid organization the.….NCRS!
Even if you NEVER even consider having a car Flight Judged the treasure trove of Corvette knowledge available isn't matched anywhere and makes being a member worthwhile.

Hi Garrett,
Cars that have a removable rear window have a shaped fiberboard or fiberglass tray (depending on year) that was hinged in to the rear bulkhead and swung down at it's front to allow the window to slide in and then a central clip or fastener to hold the tray and window tight up under the rear deck.

Alan
Tray Underside
Tray upper side that window lays in.
Clip to help secure window in tray.
1/2 of one of the hinges.
Clip mounted under rear window (not supposed to be body color)
Right side 1/2 hinge on rear bulkhead. Note carpet is cut low to clear hinge.
Hi Garrett,
What year is your car?
The clip is in the center of tray but attached to the rear deck. You pull forward on it and the front of the tray drops down to allow the window to be slipped in.
In 68 it's just a black coated spring clip, in 69 it has the additional black with chrome letters as in my picture.
Regards,
Alan
