I have a hardtop that I salvaged, it blew off a car at speed and I got it less trim for nothing. It was an easy fix, now I am curious if any of the chrome/stainless window opening trim is available? I have glass and all the hardware, but it would be a nice touch to have the chrome. what do you think?

Yup, mine blew off ( "at speed"...) in 1986. Guess those bolts in the sides were important after all. Not too much damage but I lost some of the trim. It is restored now and on my 68 but I had to replace the sides and front header.
Moving on. I believe the front header trim is reproduced but for some reason I do not think the sides and rear window trim are. They do pop up from time to time but can be pricey. Most people I know looking for those pieces end up buying a donor top.
I have a less than perfect extra front header trim that will need a bit of work, but not much, if interested. It wasn't part of my original top it was actually a replacement I found before finding an NOS one.
