Default Please help ID wire/plug 1980
I recently purchased a 1980 that was almost done with a frame on resto. While putting in new carpet I found and a wire of some sort that I can't ID? Does anyone know? It comes from above the glove box behind the dash. Looks like some switch and possibly a old tube fuse goes in??

I had a lapse in judgment and cut the wires because I thought it may be speaker wires. However I quickly learned that it was not.

Any ideas? I was thinking maybe ac control but can't seem to find where it would connect.

I don't recognize it, but I'm wonder whether you have power door locks. If so, is the passenger's side working?

courtesy light from right door? Maybe even the glove box light also.

As long as it is somebody may have pulled it down. It looks like to me it goes to the sun visor mirror light. But I could be wrong.

Thank you!. .. I just ran down to the garage and had an old visor mirror light bezel and it looks like it solved the puzzle!!!
