Great looking Corvette and I remember that you wisely came to the forum for advice. I wouldn't sweat the non numbers matching thing, as the 74-77 C3's seem to be the most modified of the bunch.

Had to drive to insurance agent to get pics taken and my wife suggested just grabbing it at lunch and taking it over there, but this is probably the last day I'll drive it before putting it away for the winter (

Looks like it is in great shape. Enjoy. I don't think I could stare at it in garage all winter without taking it out...and I doubt you can either. Heck, you couldn't even let it sit for 1 day.
