Default Radiator Support Rods

I am replacing the radiator support in my 1974 Corvette. The old support had threaded rods that went from the bottom (underside) of the headlamp mounts down to the front bottom side of the radiator support. I can't seem to find anything like this in the manual or other pictures. Can anyone help me out with this? Pictures would be great!
Thanks,
Frank

Do you have pics of the threaded rods you removed?

Here are some pictures. It is the threaded rod that runs from the underside of the headlight support mounts downward. The went through the bottom of the front side of the radiator mount and attached with nuts on the bottom of the radiator mount. I can't seem to find any info about them and don't know if someone just rigged them up for some reason. Thanks for any help/advice you can provide.

Does not have that "factory" look.
Appears to be a brace to support some structural damage suffered previously.

Thanks! I figured that because I can't seem to find anything like it anywhere online or in any of the supply catalogs. It does not look like the car suffered any crash damage but the bottom of the radiator mount/support frame was rusted through and fixed. Maybe it was rigged up to give that some extra support. Thanks again for the help!

Others may chime in here but the pic of the headlight surround with the non-stock wiring cover + the rough fiberglass and cloth hanging out appears to point to collision damage.

There is a rod that mounts to the bottom center of the radiator core support then up to a point between the headlight actuators on a 74. If you look through my old thread titled John's Winter Rebuild Thread you may find lots of helpful information on the task you have undertaken.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Here is the factory rod that runs from the support to the header.
