I bought a trashed out 82 CE for $2000. Im going to do a frame off and put a ls1 with a 6 speed tranny in it. Has anyone here done this and can they give me advice on where to get conversion parts needed to do the swap.

Its been done hundreds of times. Do some searches here, and at LS1tech. You will find several threads. I don't know of any "kits" for putting one in. Just about every swap has some differences, due to the original equipment, and what will be installed. Don't buy anything until you do a lot of research. There are several ways to do each change, and you should pick what would be best for you and your expectations.
