Posted on the Tech/Performance section yesterday and really was disappointed w/the response. Never had that happen before on this forum. Anyways, I have a 71 coupe/A/C/power steering/350 engine. Inquiring about the best kind & from where to buy a no-nonsense installation set of headers. Do not want side-pipes, just a good set of ceramic-coated headers that will not require me to pull what little bit of hair I have left out or to end up taking it somewhere to have it done. Please help.
I have the Hooker Competition #2456 with the ceramic coating. Easy install and no denting for clearance. They have been trouble free. Use Fel-Pro gaskets and some locktite blue on the bolts and you are good to go.
I used the same Hooker headers (#2456) on my car (1977 auto) when it still had a 350. They fit good with no denting required. Bought them from Summit Racing.
I have Flowtech ceramic coated headers on my car and they fit and look good for far less money but I have rack and pinion steering and I installed them while the body was off so I can't speak about installation. I think it would be easy but really don't have the experience.

I just helped my brother-in-law install those on his '79. You need to remove the oil filter and spark plugs to install them.
Flowtech from Summit here too. Perfect fit, no denting, good ground clearance, didn't have to remove anything, fast shipping and it was very easy on the pocket book.
Sorry, I did have to remove the dip-stick tube to install from underneath
I have Hedman Elites 1-5/8 inch, and fit perfectly on my 350. No modification required. The closest component it comes to is the heavy duty Moog idler arm I have, but it does not touch. I highly recommend them.
