The oldest and last record I have is an "Estimate of Value" from a company calling itself "Sun Ray Corvette", Roselle Ill.
Dated April 1985, it was addressed to a Mr ****, Senior from Palatine, Ill.

(BELOW: This guy sold it through Mecum to my guy in Rockford)
Oh well, there goes that theory.

Thanks.

It may be a question I can ask when I pick up the phone and talk to everyone in Illinois as it seems it has spent most of its life there.

I asked some friends who worked at GM Detroit back in the day who A&O might be. They guess Argonaut and Overseas. Argonaut was the outfit that handled GM cars going overseas. Since it seems the car never left the US till recently, oh well.

I reckon the Jury could be out on that one as my current summary is:- 1. She's born late 1971 in St Louis. 2. Dealer and Zone is GM Head Office, Michigan. (No specific Dealership/Onseller mentioned). 3. She pops up in Roselle Ill. in 1985.
It's a possibility! ... that's a window of around 15 years if my math is any good and don't forget she also went to California not that long ago. (I know that's still US but still a long way from Illinois.)

I really thought that Ralf was on to it with A&O Mold , but on the other hand "A&O Fleet =91" would suggest that it was part of a big consignment of sorts, don't you think??

... would there have been a Dealership called, "A&O" maybe??
