Front bumper cover... Help!!!!
Hi
I bought a urethane front bumper cover for my 1976. How the heck do you get it on. Seems impossible to get the retainers to stay put and if they do they don't clear the bumper channel to seat..
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I believe that is exactly how it is done by both pros and amateurs!!
Good for you for sticking with it.
That is a tough job.

i didn't use a heat gun.. Just fiddled with the pre drilled holes in the bumper. Didn't want to drill into the car itself.
Now it's tweaking the seams/fit. Passenger side looks good but drivers side of the nose to the center of the drivers headlight seam is higher than the glass.
I asked on a different thread what the factory fit looked like as far as tolerances.
