PS: I thought it was interesting the Scandinavian prince picked a 'Vette over any European custom order he could afford. Which is to say - all of them.

I would imagine if you were looking for the classiest production exotica available in the mid-50s, the Corvette would certainly qualify. The lines killed just about anything at the time. I love Healeys and Jag 140s but - really? Look at that sexy cove and enticing curve of the 'Vette's hood. And the proportions were dead on the mark. That Prince had good taste.
