72 Windshield wiper switch removal
I'm about to remove the windshield wiper switch from my 72. Anybody have any tips? It looks like it can be removed without removing the center gauge cluster. Can I remove the screws in the wiper plate around the switch and get to it that way? Thanks for any help.

Hi 65,
Note the exact position that the plug on the dash harness that connects to the switch BEFORE you pull it.
It's possible to put it on turned 180 degrees even though GM thought they'd designed the plug so that couldn't happen.
